Are your candles eco-friendly?

SeLaLuz Candles are non-toxic and eco-friendly, made using 100% natural waxes and lead- and zinc-free wicks. We use only phthalate-free fragrances made from natural oils. Our candles are crafted to be as zero-waste as possible so you can buy them knowing you're doing something good for the planet. Want some fun ideas on how to reduce candle waste? You can use the tag as a bookmark, the metal logo as a pin, or re-melt the extra wax into new candles or homemade tarot tarts.

Do you ship internationally?

Selaluz is all over the world! We do ship everywhere!

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout. The website is in US dollars and conversions will happen within your bank account. Duty Taxes is on the buyer. The shipping cost is exactly what I pay and nothing higher. We apologize for the high conversions and shipping costs in this time period. Thank you international peeps for choosing my products! I entered the wrong shipping address at checkout!

No worries, this stuff happens! Please send us an email to info@selaluzcandles.com with your updated address and subject line ADDRESS CHANGE - if the package gets delivered to the wrong address - there is a $10 reshipping fee. 

 

My plate arrived broken :(

I am so sorry it arrived damaged! We try very hard to package everything with such care but, unfortunately, it may happen in transit. We do not send out new plates, but please send us an email with pictures to help you out!

How long does shipping & processing take?

 **HOLIDAY SHIP TIMES ARE 3-5 WEEKS**

Most orders are processed and shipped within 4-6 business days. Once they have been shipped, ship times are typically 2-3 days. Candles should take about 1 1/2 weeks to get there. International shipping could take up to 30 days.

Are the candles safe for animals?

I have been burning these candles around my furry friends for over 8 years with no issues! 

 

The candle melted all over the place?!

The instructions are so important!

Wind Free - absolutely no wind.

In the beginning of the burn it is very important to keep the wick trimmed to 1/4 inches ( especially the first 1-2 hours ) 

Trim the mushroom - this will help with the wick falling back into the candles - (wick droppings) 

Burning your candle for 5+ hours at a time will allow for an even burn pool and will prevent tunneling. 

DO NOT leave the candle unattended.
