2. Melt the wax:

  • Fill the bottom of the double boiler with water and bring it to a simmer.

  • Cut the paraffin wax into small pieces and place it in the top of the double boiler.

  • Stir occasionally until the wax is completely melted.

  • Use a thermometer to ensure that the wax reaches a temperature of at least 170°F.

3. Add fragrance and dye (if desired):

Put on those gloves and grab your Pouring Pitcher

  • Once the wax is melted, add fragrance or essential oils and dye (if desired) to the wax.

  • Use a clothespin or ( I use a chopstick) to hold the wick in place while the wax sets.

  • Spray mold of choice with Mold Release Spray.

5. Pour the wax:

  • Slowly pour the melted wax into the mold in a non windy area to ensure proper cooling process.

  • Make sure that the wick stays centered as you pour the wax.

  • Only pour half way!!

  • Wait about 45 mins and ADD a couple crystals, stones, shells, charms a little away from the wick, but not too far. This is the time Selaluz Crystal Pyramid Candles add the intentions and plays beautiful music to the candles. The wax molds memory!
